The event "Common Past - Common Future" held at Queen Tamar Hall

Organized by the Government of the A/R of Abkhazia and Ministry of Confidence Building and Reconciliation Issues of the A/R of Abkhazia within the Peace Initiative Program the  event "Common past - common future" held at Queen Tamar Hall of Tbilisi Municipality.

Presentation of the book "Common past - Common Future" was arranged at the event, as well. The  invited guests spoke Georgian-Abkhaz relations and strengthening the role of public diplomacy in it, were stressed the need of establishing a platform for peace processes.

In parallel, the photo exhibition of Georgian cultural heritage monuments located in the territory of Abkhazia were held.

All persons participating in the creation of book at the end of the event were given symbolic gifts from the Office of the Minister of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia on the issues of confidence building and reconciliation.

Vakhtang Kolbaia, the Acting Chair of Government of the A/R of Abkhazia, Elguja Gvazava, Chair of the Supreme Council of the A/R of Abkhazia, Mariam Jashi, Member of Parliament of Georgia, Chairman of Education, Science and Culture Committee, David Gvadzabia, Minister of the Office of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia on the Issues of Confidence Building and Reconciliation, Bela Kopaliani,First Deputy of Minister of the Office of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia on the Issues of Confidence Building and Reconciliation, members of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, authors of the book and internally displaced people attended the event.
