The event dedicated to Muhajiroba was held in the Parliament of Georgia

Organized by the Government of the A/R of Abkhazia and Committee of the Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee, Temporary Commission on Territorial Integrity Issues and State Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Issues, the event dedicated to Muhajiroba was held in the Parliament of Georgia.

The event was opened by the Chairman of the Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee of the Parliament of Georgia Zviad Kvachantiradze, the audience was addressed by the Acting Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Vakhtang Kolbaia, and Head of Department of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, former South Ossetia District and Civil Integration Department, Zviad Zviadadze.

Thematic photos related to Muhajiroba were exhibited at the exhibition hall of the parliament and "Abkhazian descendant of Muhajirs in Adjara" film was shown at the cinema hall and information booklets were distributed to guests. ‘Photo Exhibition is a historical chronicle on one hand and, on the other hand, afterwards 150 years, the eruption of pain in genetics of Abkhazian and Georgian. I appeal to our Abkhaz brothers, that we have a common fate and common pain but our strength is in our consciousness"- stated Vakhtang Kolbaia.

At the end of the event Abkhazian State Song and Dance Ensemble performed Georgian and Abkhazian songs.

Elguja Gvazava, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, representatives of the executive and legislative authorities of Georgia, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia, members of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia and deputies of the Supreme Council attended the event.
